Our Senior Developer position is great for an individual who is self-motivated, has a love of learning, and collaboration. In this position you will help develop a new framework for our business partners, collaborate and guide team members on large application development and can help lead a high-energy development team.
Position Description:
· Apply coding/implementation best practices to produce high-quality and reusable code utilizing:
o SQL
o GIS/ESRI
o Java/Angular
o Python
o JSON
· Understand and explain application and system architecture
· Help design and implement software products
· Contribute to and create front-end UI
· Collaborate with the Product team in creation of Acceptance Criteria for stories following Agile practices
· Design and develop manual and automated tests
· Collaborate and help guide other developers to sharing knowledge and improving overall product/solution
· Regularly archive source code in GIT, code repository, for projects
· Interface with geographically disperse teams across the United States
Education and experience:
· Bachelor’s degree or equivalent job-related experience required
· 5+ years hands on programming experience (Java/SQL/Angular/Python)
· Experienced in web services, web standards; REST, HTML/CSS
Preferred experience:
· Experience with CI/CD such as Jenkins and BitBucket
· Experience with test automation, unit test writing and execution
· Experience with security and identity management
· Experience working on an Agile team
